EuroShield advises data center developers, operators, investors, and hyperscale tenants on medium-voltage and low-voltage electrical architecture, UPS topology, backup generation, grid-interface strategy, and operational resilience. We are engaged as Owner’s Engineer — on the owner’s side of the table — across feasibility, concept design, grid-interconnection negotiation, procurement, construction oversight, and commissioning.
Power is now the binding constraint on AI data center capacity in most metros EuroShield operates in. Zurich, Frankfurt, Dublin, Paris, London, Amsterdam, Dubai, Riyadh, and Hyderabad all present a version of the same problem: the grid connection timeline is longer than the build programme, the power envelope is fixed before the workload mix is known, and the electrical architecture either fits the AI density curve or it does not. A power design that was competent for 8–15 kW racks in 2020 is not the right answer for 80–130 kW racks in 2026.
Work is aligned to EN 50600-2-2 power supply and distribution, TIA-942 electrical topology and rating, Uptime Institute Tier methodology, IEC 61936 and IEC 61439 for MV/LV assemblies, IEEE 1100 (Emerald Book) grounding and power quality, IEC 62040 for UPS systems, IEC 60364 low-voltage installations, EN 50600-2-4 telecommunications cabling, and the EU Energy Efficiency Directive reporting framework. Where the DC hosts OT-controlled processes or regulated workloads, electrical architecture decisions are cross-checked against NIS2 Article 21 operational-resilience measures, IEC 62443 for BMS/EPMS, and sector frameworks (FINMA outsourcing, BSI KRITIS, ANSSI LPM, UAE NCA OTCS, Saudi NCA OTCC).

We evaluate ABB, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Eaton, Vertiv, Cummins, Caterpillar, MTU Rolls-Royce, Kohler, Huawei, Legrand, Delta, Mitsubishi Electric, and adjacent vendors on merit against the design brief — and recommend the architecture that fits the site, the workload, and the 20-year operating economics.
